Everything in this universe - from giant stars to our bodies- works on molecular level. therefore, everything inour body and in the physical universe is already nanotechnology. Nanotechnology has been around since the late 1970's, when the scientists found new ways of making the computer chipsmaller and efficient.
The computer industry has been the driving force for the advancement of nanotechnology. Medical science is likely to benefit from the use of naanotechnology, particularly in the key area of diagnostics.
